How I started

The first ever studio I got was at a village house in Hong Kong. It was on an island where I lived for 2 years to escape the bustling city. I placed the studio at a corner of the living room with windows on both sides. It was a very small place yet it was like the whole world to me where I could create my work. I only got the basic necessary tools and worked by bare hands.

For the first year, I started with the idea of the assignments I did in the university. I used mainly the wires of different thickness to create some simple forms and geometrical shapes. I worked mainly with brass and copper at that time.

Looking back on these 2 years in that studio, I am very grateful to start the creation journey there.
